imagine how tough it was for snape to hear all of this when he knew the truth. to be humiliated in front of everyone like that by the son of the man who humiliated him when he was younger. he probably wanted so badly to tell harry the truth right then and there, but it wasn’t time. he wanted to let harry know why he did what he did, why he treated harry the way he did, but he couldn’t. not yet. snape was not only a brave man, but a strong, patient, and loyal man.
